Tell us how you first got started in alternative medicine.

I embarked on my career at an early age. As a competitive track athlete and State Champion, I used many alternative methods and nutritional support to enhance my performance. After graduating from Yuba College, CA, I naturally fell into a career in the Health Club industry.

After co-owning one of the largest all women’s Fitness Centers in California, I became an international speaker and health educator. While living abroad for 8 years, I lectured and taught in Spain, Switzerland, Indonesia, Singapore, Manila, Malaysia and Mexico. After returning to the United States, I became a Nutritional Microscopist and Bio-Energetic specialist. Using techniques such as food combining and eating right for your blood type and live blood cell analysis, the patient can have a look inside their immune systems. This analysis can reveal fungus, candid bacteria, inflammation, plaque and nutritional deficiencies and much more. When the patient is able to see their blood sample on a T.V. monitor, it is both very exciting and motivating. In reviewing a patient’s dietary and lifestyle habits. I make nutritional, supplemental and lifestyle suggestions. In addition to feeling better following the suggested guidelines. The patient can look forward to “seeing” their progress on repeat visits.

My mother had high blood pressure, Type II diabetes, was obese and on the threshold of heart disease when the doctors discovered she had breast cancer. After much consideration, my mother opted to have a radical mastectomy that involved removing her left breast and seven lymph nodes. While undergoing chemotherapy, I employed alternative therapies such as oxygen therapy, parasite cleansing, colonics, juicing, nutritional supplementation, and a diet rich in antioxidants.

After her recovery and detoxification, I put her on a dietary regimen that stabilized her blood sugar, enhanced weight loss, and increased her immune system. After six months, she had lost 50 lbs, her blood pressure went down, her blood sugar stabilized, and her sense of well being improved drastically. At 86, and after 7 years of being cancer free, my mother is happier than I have seen her in a long time, and she continues to practice the healthy lifestyle and choices she has learned to appreciate and enjoy.

When we embark on the road to self-healing, it begins when we take responsibility for how we think, feel and experience life. Instead of looking at others, we need to look at ourselves and use our minds to recognize and cultivate our own health’s inner beauty. Only then, can we face and transform our weaknesses into our strengths.
