Roxanne Castillo is the Biofeedback Specialist for the Center for New Medicine. She has a background in psychology and human services and is currently earning her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy and is practicing Family Therapy for the Department of Mental Health. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Trauma-Focused Therapy and has been training to specialize in Mindfulness practices and Biofeedback treatments.

EVOX is a Perception Reframing biofeedback treatment in which patients receive helpful frequencies which target and unblock built-up, toxic stress and excess energies in the body. Research has shown that when maladaptive emotions, such as anger and worry, are internalized and cycled repeatedly, it can result in physiological manifestations such as migraines, heart disease, anxiety, gastrointestinal problems, muscle tension, tumor development, sexual dysfunction, and many more.

Biofeedback using our EVOX technology is a time- and research-tested treatment which helps individuals in two ways: (1) by receiving energetic frequencies to release emotional stress and decongest emotional barriers and (2) learning their physiological responses to monitor and better control them toward healthier and more adaptive functioning. Patients have reported impacts on various aspects including improved personal health, interpersonal relationships, personal performance, and increased relaxation and decreased stress.
